Today 4 years ago my friend and former coaching great Steve Lewis passed away! I will never forget him and we are here
today still playing with him in our hearts, minds and our cool t-shirts. Please give a moment for him sometime today...

Southern California Regional Finals...
We did it again! Last night we beat Carlsbad La Costa Canyon in
five. It was one of the most exciting games I have ever been apart of. The girls really played well most of the
match and were resilient to La Costa Canyon when we needed it most! Next up Buchanan in Clovis, California. Game
is Tuesday night and any JV or FS girls that have attended one of the State Playoff games via the bus may go on
the bus with us! I will pass out pink slips tomorrow for them to sign because we are leaving around 10:00
a.m. Tuesday morning for Clovis.
Parents...there is interest in a Rooter Bus that we will have
to pay for. We are looking into it so if there is a will there is a way! I will have more information tomorrow.
This would be alot easier on the parents because of the drive.

Southern California Regional Semi-Finals
We did it! We won last night against Pacific Palisades Charter High School by the scores of 25-20,25-12,25-16.
We played well at times and also played like a team that hasn't played for a week. Next up.....La Costa Canyon at
La Costa Canyon at 7:00p.m. Directions are located on the left of the screen.
If any JV or FS
players are interested in going we have a two-way Charter Bus and we will be leaving at 2:30 at school.

Banquet Information
This years banquet will be on Monday December 10th at 6:00 at El Dorado Park Golf Course. Banquet fees
are $22.00 a person. Check out the information to the left for more information.

CIF State Tournament...
For the first time in 25 years Lakewood High School will participate in the
CIF State Tournament. We are traveling to Palisades Charter High School in Pacific Palisades. The Charter Bus
is going to leave at 3:30 so ANY JV or FS player interested in attending may go on the bus because
it will be a TWO-WAY bus. We are going to stop off at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica
for dinner and go to Pacific Palisades from there. Here we go again! Look at the page to the left for directions
to Pacific Palisades Charter High School.

CIF Semi-Finals at Redondo Union
We play Tuesday night at Redondo Union in the Semi-Finals at 7:00. We had a great crowd there last
night and we have to duplicate it again on Tuesday. We once again will be taking a ONE-WAY bus to Redondo any JV or
FS girl is welcome to take the bus with us for cheering support.
There are 6 teams left
in the Div-I running for the State playoffs.

Poly II-A
Redlands East Valley II-A
California
III-AA
Quartz Hills III-AA
La Quinta III-A
These schools listed are in the running for a State Bid. There are 4 schools from the Southern Section that
will be selected. If we go to the Finals there is no choice but to select us if not then it will be the luck of the
draw.

CIF Quarter-Finals vs. Edison
We travel to Edison High School on Saturday November 10th for the Quarter-Finals. Game time is 7:00.
We need everyone there for support. JV and FS we need your constant support for the girls. Look to the left for
directions to Edison.
JV and FS are allowed to go on the bus with us but they must be here by
5:30 sharp. The bus is a ONE WAY bus so that means we will not return on the bus. I will pay for half of their
$5.00 ticket if they go. Please pass this information on to others.

CIF 2nd Round vs. Santa Margarita
Tomorrow night vs. Santa Margarita at LAKEWOOD. Gametime at 7:00 so we need EVERYONE
there. NO EXCUSES this is a whole program deal so Frosh/Soph and Junior Varsity MUST
be there. Our lower level turnout last night was not good! Get there at 6:30 sharp to help us warm up etc.

1st Round CIF Playoffs Tuesday Night...
We host Newbury Park Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. We finished the season
ranked #7 in Div. I-AA, considered the toughest division in the country. We need all of your help and support in trying
to achieve our goals. Be there Tuesday night at 7:00 so we can make an exciting entry into the playoffs.
